1981年2月1日、アルバム『Tug Of War』のレコーディングのためにモンセラット島にあるＡＩＲスタジオに到着したベーシストのスタンリー・クラークは、その翌日からポールとのジャム・セッションを始めた。ドラマーのスティーブ・ガッドも加えて３人でジャム・セッションを行った末に生まれたのが、このインストゥルメンタル・ナンバーである。
アルバム『Tug Of War』には収録されずに、その続編である次のアルバム『Pipes Of Peace』に収録された。スタンリー・クラークがこの曲の共作者としてクレジットされている。

アルバムでの前の曲「Sweetest Little Show」とのメドレー形式で登場するSEを多用したショー仕立ての曲。歌詞の内容は、ボクサー、ウェイトレス、機関士などの想像上の「平均的な人」が登場するというもの。
「ライブ・ショーみたいにやりたかったんだ。ただ歌を聴いているだけじゃなくて、映画を見ているような感じにね。 それで音響効果を使って雰囲気を出したんだ。」（ポール）
この曲は、1980年9月30日に(1)ウィングスとして行われたリハーサル で演奏され、その後、1982年2月4日に行われたアルバム『Tug Of War』のレコーディングで、デイブ・マタックスのドラム演奏で録音された。ところが、曲の雰囲気が『Tug Of War』の雰囲気に合わなかったということで、同じく『Tug Of War』に収録予定だった曲「Keep Under Cover」と共に『Tug Of War』の収録リストから漏れ、1983年に行われたアルバム『Pipes Of Peace』のセッションで、今度はリンゴ・スターをドラムに迎えてレコーディングされ、アルバム収録されるに至った。
元ウィングスのデニー・レインがギターとコーラスで参加している。
この曲の(2)デモ音源も、1980年夏に「Rude Studio」で制作されたアルバム『Tug Of War』のデモとして発見されている。
