妻のリンダへ向けて歌った力強いバラード。歌詞の内容から、リンダを攻撃するマスコミに対して書いた曲とも解釈できる。
ジェリー・マロッタの力強いドラムが印象的な曲である。
この曲は、アルバム『Press To Play』のレコーディングにあたり、ポール、エリック・スチュアート、ジェリー・マロッタの３人でベーシック・トラックが録音された。そのベーシック・トラックに、ヒュー・パジャムのプロデュースのもと、カルロス・アロマーのギターがオーバー・ダブされ、このバージョンが７インチシングル「Press」のＢ面として発表された。
一方、後にアルバム『Off The Ground』のプロデュースを手がけることになるジュリアン・メンデルソンのプロデュースにより、７インチシングルバージョンよりも１分強長いバージョンが制作され、１０インチ・１２インチシングル「Press」のＢ面と、アルバム『Press To Play』ＣＤ盤に収録された。現在一般的に聴くことができるのはこちらのバージョンである。
７インチシングルのバージョンと、１０インチ・１２インチ・ＣＤアルバムのバージョンは、ベーシックトラックは一緒であるが、随所に相違点が見られる。１０インチ・１２インチ・ＣＤアルバムバージョンでは、カルロス・アロマーのギターが取り除かれ、ベーシック・トラックに入っていたリズム・マシーンがかすかに聞こえる。また、サックス・ソロとコーラスがオーバーダブされている。バックコーラスはセッション・ミュージシャンの５人組コーラスグループが担当したと思われる。
リリースされたバージョンの中間点に位置するラフ・ミックスも発見されており、以下のブートで聴くことができる。
ラフ・ミックスにはカルロス・アロマーのギターは入っておらず、ポールのボーカルもオーバーダブされる前のバージョンとなっている。

However Absurd

元10ccのエリック・スチュアートとの共作曲。サイケデリックなアレンジがビートルズっぽく、ビートルズ時代のジョン・レノンの作風を模倣しているかのよう。ポールは敢えてビートルズっぽいアレンジを拒まなかったという。
「しばらくはビートルズに回帰することに抵抗していたけど、いつも『何故だろう？』って思っていたんだ。ビートルズの影響に反故する理由を誰か教えてくれないか？ 仮にビートルズっぽくする権利がある人がいるとすれば、それは今生きている３人じゃないかな。」（ポール）
「アブザードというのは『あまりにもビートリーで、僕はやりたくない』という気持ち。これまでは抵抗していたけど、今は別に意識していない。いいバンドだったんだから無視する必要はないんだよ。"I Am The walrus" のイントロみたいなところがあって、僕の好きなスタイルだ。歌詞はちょっと変わっているけど、ちゃんと意味はある。『僕らの間には特別なものがある。言葉では僕の気持ちを完璧には伝えられない』 という歌詞があるんだけど、これはカリル・ジブランの『ザ・プロット』を意識したんだ。その詞の中には"Half of what I say is meaningless, but I say it just to reach you（僕の言うことの半分は意味がない。でも、君に届くようにあえて言う）"っていう文があって、僕とジョンはこれをとっても気に入っていて、ジョンが歌詞に使ったことがあるんだ。」（ポール）オーケストラ・アレンジはアン・ダドリーが担当した。

アルバム『Press To Play』に収録されている、ポール単独で書いた曲のメドレー。夏の様子が思い浮かぶようなレゲエ風のアレンジとなっている。
「僕にとって、この曲には３つの夏がある。１つは、僕が子供の頃、半ズボンを履いてバトリンに遊びに行った夏さ。長いズボンを履きたかったので、とても恥ずかしかった覚えがあるよ。２つ目の夏は、もう少し大きくなってから。ビートルズ時代のことを思い出した歌詞さ。'しょうもないシーズンだったよ。ベストだったか？ 理由なんか必要ないさ。ただ休暇が欲しいのさ！'という歌詞。アルバムの中でも気に入っている歌詞だ。３番目は、もう少し縁起の悪い夏、戦争前の夏のこと。」（ポール）
この曲のイントロ部分のアカペラと波の音は、サセックスのレコーディング・スタジオの外で、ポール、ケイト・ロビンス（ポールのいとこ）、ルビー・ジェイムスのコーラスを録音したものである。
その後、カルロス・アロマーのギター、エディー・レイナー（スプリット・エンツのキーボディスト）の演奏が加えられた。
また演奏面では、珍しくポールのチョッパー・ベースが楽しめる曲でもある。
元々「Feel The Sun」は3分30秒もの長さで、後半からエディー・レイナーのキーボードがフィーチャーされていたが、アルバム収録にあたり、1分25秒に編集された。

ポールと10ccのエリック・スチュアートとの共作。ポールはこの曲を、1984年頃の冬に雪の中で食べ物を探すカササギを見て、そのカササギにインスパイアされて書いた。
「曲を書くことにとっては、とてもロマンチックなアイデアみたいだったよ。僕らは食べ物を探すカササギに関してから曲を書き始めた。食べ物を探すことは、カササギにとっては生きていくためには自然なことなんだよ。それから、カササギのイメージが、丸太を探す孤独な老人になったんだ。丁度、'Eleanor Rigby'に登場するキャラクターのようなね。」（ポール）
そのイメージに合致して、ポールの枯れたボーカルは、冬をイメージしているようだ。
スパニッシュ・ギターはポールが弾いている。

ポールのサセックスにあるスタジオで行われていた「Saturday Afternoon Session」にフィル・コリンズとピート・タウンゼントがやって来た時に出来た曲。後日、エリック・スチュアートによる演奏を加えて、曲を完成させている。よって、アルバム『Press To Play』の最初のラインアップにはなかった曲である。
歌詞の内容は、日常生活や政治的なことに不満をぶつけているものである。
「この曲を演奏するたび、ピート・タウンゼントのように感じるんだ。この曲で腕を風車のようにグルグルと回しながら弾いたよ。」 「サッチャーやレーガン政権の南アフリカに対する態度、子供をタバコの火でいたぶろうとする人、そういうことを考えたら腹が立ってくる。」（ポール）
ラリー・アレキサンダーが後にニューヨークの「Power Station」でリミックス作業を行い、デイブ・マシューズによるオーケストレーションを加え、リミックス・バージョンとして、アメリカでは「Stranglehold」のB面として、イギリスでは「Pretty Little Head」12インチシングルのB面として発売した。
この曲が出来た時のセッションは、1995年8月21日に放送されたポールのDJによる番組「Oobu Joobu」の第15回でも、一部オンエアされた。以下のブートで聴くことができる。
