現役女子大生ピアノデュオDewが2日、渋谷duo MUSIC EXCHANGEにて、5月に発売した1stアルバム『PRESENT』のリリース記念ワンマンライヴを行なった。
現在大学に通う清水悠（Vo）と大西春菜（Vo＆Pf.）は、カナダで過ごした高校在学中にDewを結成。清水の包み込むような歌声と、大西の凛とした歌声によるハーモニーが特徴で、2008年7月にミニアルバム『花図鑑』でデビューした。
チケットソールドアウトとなったこの日は、関係者含め500人の観客が会場を埋め尽くした。ライヴはインディーズ時代のアルバムに収録の「For the moon」でスタート。ギター、ベース、ドラム、キーボード、バイオリン、チェロといったバンドメンバーをバックに、「プレゼント」「若葉」「Fragile」と、1stアルバムからの楽曲を次々と披露した。
「こんばんは、Dewです。いつかduoをお客さんでいっぱいにしようと思ってた夢が叶ってうれしいです」と清水が嬉しそうに挨拶した後は、大西がメインヴォーカルの「Forget-me-not」を演奏。大西の透明感のある歌声が、会場に涼しげな風を運んだ。続く「星に願いを」「Dear」は、大西のピアノとチェロとバイオリンのみで演奏。上品かつシンプルな演奏が、清水の伸びやかでハリのある歌声を、より際立たせた。
ライヴ中盤では、「今日はたっぷり時間があるので、私達がインディーズ時代に書いた曲をやります」と、2人だけで「平行線」「うしろすがた」を披露。演奏後、清水は「「うしろすがた」は、春菜が全部2人で歌いたいと言って作った曲です。その頃は音楽室のフタのない鍵盤で（曲を）作ったね」と話し、大西と懐かしそうに顔を見合わせた。
その後は、カナダで過ごした高校時代に、2人の初ステージとして学校で歌ったというザ・ビートルズのカヴァー「Yesterday」や、Dewの原点の曲だという「君へ〜forever friend」、ミニアルバム『花図鑑』から「タンデライオン」などを披露。本編ラストの「Thank you」まで、まるで心を浄化するかのような極上のハーモニーで観客を魅了した。
ちなみに、この日はオトナモードの山本健太がバックバンドのキーボードを務めており、「オトナモードは活動した頃からずっと仲良くさせていただいているバンドで、18〜19歳頃からのつきあいです。上京して初めてのライヴでも一緒でした。オトナモードもよろしく」と清水が紹介する場面もあった。
アンコールでは、未発表の新曲「SEASONS」が披露されたほか、11月にキリスト品川教会グローリアチャペルにて、次のワンマンライヴを行なうことを発表。Dewならではの"声が主役"のライヴに、観客はすっかり魅了されたようだった。
なお、Dewは8月8日に夢の島公園陸上競技場で開催される＜情熱大陸SPECIAL LIVE SUMMER TIME BOSSA '09＞、8月29日に池上本門寺・野外特設ステージで開催される＜Slow Music Slow LIVE '09 in 池上本門寺＞に出演する。また、このライヴの模様は、8月4日19時からMUSIC ON! TVで放送される。

I must say, as a lot as I enjoyed reading what you had to say, I couldnt help but lose interest after a while.
