ジョン・レノンの若き日を描いた映画『Nowhere Boy』、サントラ発売が決定

若き日のジョン・レノン（John Lennon）に焦点を当てた伝記映画『Nowhere Boy』。イギリスでは12月より劇場公開される（日本公開未定）本作のオリジナル・サウンドトラックが同月に英国発売されます。
　
　映画『Nowhere Boy』は、15歳のジョンがビートルズの原型となったバンドとハンブルグに渡るまでの日々を描いたもの。ジョンの父親違いの妹ジュリア・ベアードの著書「Imagine This: Growing Up With My Brother John Lennon」を原作とした作品で、監督はこれまで現代美術の世界で活躍してきたイギリスの女性写真家サム・テイラー・ウッド。映画で15歳のジョンを演じるのは、『ジョージアの日記／ゆーうつでキラキラな毎日』（2008年）ほかの出演で人気急上昇中のアーロン・ジョンソンです。
　
　サントラは映画のサウンドトラック盤『Music From Nowhere Boy』と、映画からのインスピレーション盤『Music Inspired By Nowhere Boy』のCD2枚組。サウンドトラック盤にはジョン・レノンの「Mother」に加え、クオリーメン（ビートルズの前身バンド）の代わりに登場するThe Nowhere Boysの音源も収録。またインスピレーション盤には、チャック・ベリー、リトル・リチャード、エルヴィス・プレスリー、バディ・ホリー、ファッツ・ドミノらの音源が収録されます。
　
　サントラは英国にて12月14日発売予定。若き日のジョンの苦悩に迫った『Nowhere Boy』。映画ともども、サントラにもご注目を！
