ポール・マッカートニーは１０月２６日、ニューヨーク、ブロードウェイのミンスコフ・シアターで開かれたチャリティ・コンサート「チャンス・アンド・ケミストリー」に出席し、歌も披露しました。
これは非営利団体アクターズ・ファンドのためのチャリティ公演で、ブロードウェイ・ミュージカルの作曲家フランク・レッサーの作品をさまざまな出演者が演奏するというもの。ポールの公式サイト（１０月２８日付）などによると、ポールはレッサー作曲のスタンダード・ナンバー「オン・ア・スロウ・ボート・トゥ・チャイナ」を歌い、最後のカーテンコールでもステージに登場しました。また、歌う前にポールは、子どもの頃に父がピアノでレッサーの作品を弾いて聴かせてくれたという思い出を語りました。当日の写真はこちらです。
